Helena Pimenta returns to the world of William Shakespeare and, before we get to enjoy the performance, she offers us a masterclass to better understand the keys to one of William Shakespeare's most admired comedies, written in 1602, where the audience is a co-protagonist in the events. Twelfth Night opens the series The Classics Today as part of the Museum's theater program.

Born in Salamanca in 1955, Pimenta is a stage director, playwright, and theater director. With a career spanning more than 30 years in the world of theater, she has become one of the most prestigious stage directors in Spain and one of the leading specialists in the playwright William Shakespeare, having staged numerous plays by him. In addition to her theatrical activities, she has extensive teaching experience in various theater schools, universities, and national and international forums. She was director of the National Classical Theater Company from 2011 to 2019. She has been awarded the National Theater Prize, the Stage Directors' Association Prize for Best Direction on two occasions, and the 2002 Lazarillo Prize for best theatrical career, among others.
