The creative process behind Intermedia. Masterclass with Laura Arnedo

September 8 / 7:00 p.m.

Workshops Free admission with invitation

As part of the presentation of the collective exhibition Intermedia. Writing the image, creating the word, writer and poet Laura Arnedo will talk about the intermediality exercise she has carried out for the exhibition. She will contrast her creative work with that of writer Carlos Bassas and artist José Noguero, who are also participating in the exhibition and in this event. Bassas (Barcelona, 1974) works as a writer, a job he combines with teaching and screenwriting. Throughout his literary career, he has received various awards, such as the Hammett Prize (2019) awarded by the Semana Negra de Gijón. Noguero (Huesca, 1969) is one of the most brilliant artists of his generation and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, not only in Spain but also abroad.

Laura Arnedo (La Rioja, 1982) has published the poetry collections Elogio de la Sed (In Praise of Thirst) in 2014 and Historia de los niños luciérnaga (Story of the Firefly Children) in 2017. She has won literary awards and honorable mentions, such as first prize for literary genres at the 2012 Young Art Encounters organized by the Government of Navarre.

The Intermedia exhibition is the result of the winning project from the final master's degree projects of the third class of the Master's Degree in Curatorial Studies offered at the University of Navarra Museum.
