DRAMATIZED READING OF THOSE WHO ENTER WITHOUT PAYING IN THE COMEDY

The so-called short theater or minor theater of the Golden Age is the protagonist of this dramatized reading in the exhibition rooms of the Museum, a theatrical activity whose chamber format creates a timeless, intimate dialogue between the contemporary work on display and the classic text.

The program will consist of loa, jácara, entremés, dance, and mojiganga, minor genres that were part of 17th-century performances, inserted between the different acts before, during, and at the end of the comedies. Great authors such as Calderón, Lope, Cervantes, Lope de Rueda, and Quiñones de Benavente wrote these little gems of our Golden Age theater.
