THOUGHT IN DANCE. MYTH IN A MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY
ABOUT THE WORK OF GERMAINE ACOGNY
In her choreography, Acogny blends the great female figures of Greek tragedy with the history of Africa.
This conference table seeks to contextualize and connect two of the central ideas that the choreographer works with: on the one hand, current interpretations of the myth of Medea in the arts and, on the other, the psychological creation and recreation of characters within a multicultural world where ancient myths dialogue with the present.
The session will be broadcast live onour YouTube channel.
