Musicae Artis. Sacred music experience at the Museum
The University of Navarra Museum has promoted the production of a unique musical experience called "Musicae Artis," together with the Orfeón Pamplonés Youth Choir, the Navarra Conservatory of Music, and the Pablo Sarasate Professional Conservatory of Music.
The event is open to the public and will take place on March 26, close to Holy Week. It consists of a choral and instrumental performance of various musical pieces from the Passion, presented in a traveling format throughout the exhibition halls of the University of Navarra Museum. The performance culminates in the museum's theater, with a predominance of Bach's St. Matthew Passion in the repertoire. This fulfills the new museum's intention to disseminate and fuse different artistic expressions, combining the performing arts with the visual arts.
Musicae Artis consists of two parts: the first part takes place in the exhibition halls and the second part of the concert will be held in the theater. Tickets for the first session at 7:00 p.m. are sold out, so attendees can only purchase tickets for the second session at 7:30 p.m.. Please be punctual.
