Art and Technology Seminar

A conference on art and technology based on computer image generation

45€

PRESENTATION

Computer image generation, also known as 3D graphics or CGI, took its first steps in the 1940s with the advent of the first computers, but it wasn't until the 1970s that it began to take off and experience exponential growth, mainly since the creation of Pixar.

Today, it is something we encounter on a daily basis and is applied across all artistic disciplines, including animation, live-action film, photography, video games, video installations, and the performing arts.

Despite the great progress that has been made, we can only guess at the possibilities that lie ahead. We could say that we are still in the early stages of a tool that offers increasingly more possibilities for application in the world of art.
