DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN WINES OF NAVARRA
One of the main characteristics that define the D.O. Navarra is the great diversity of landscapes and climates found in the more than 100 kilometers that separate the north of the area, located near Pamplona, from the south, nestled on the banks of the Ebro River.
Navarre enjoys an exceptional situation that is practically unique in the Iberian Peninsula: the convergence of Atlantic, continental, and Mediterranean climates. The proximity of the Cantabrian Sea, the influence of the Pyrenees, and the fertility of the Ebro Valley allow for this varied climate.
This circumstance has a profound impact on the landscape of Navarre, where the more than 11,000 hectares of the Designation of Origin are located in all types of ecosystems and growing conditions: hillsides, riverbanks, plateaus, plains, which define five distinct production areas: Baja Montaña, Valdizarbe, Tierra Estella, Ribera Alta, and Ribera Baja.
In this context of constant evolution and great dynamism, the Designation of Origin has given new impetus to the pursuit of quality. Quality understood from the consumer's point of view, with special emphasis on tasting control to ensure that the wines meet their expectations.
Thanks to all these natural and human conditions, DO Navarra wines offer a wide range of possibilities: from the famous rosé wines to the juicy young reds, from the delicious Chardonnay whites to the great crianza and reserva reds, not to mention the seductive sweet Muscat whites.
Wines for all occasions and tastes, tailored to consumers seeking to experience new sensations or relive pleasant moments. A world of wine where everyone can find their own style.
