VIII The voice of your Faculty

  March 21 / 7:30 p.m.
  10 Euros

The final of the eighth edition of LA VOZ DE TU FACULTAD (The Voice of Your Faculty) comes to the theater of the University of Navarra Museum.

The applications were submitted in January. The participants have received training in all the skills that can help them achieve success, such as choreography, vocal technique, teamwork... All in a specific training program designed by the professionals at JANA PRODUCCIONES, who have accompanied the candidates during these months of frenetic preparation.

The moment has arrived! The finalists face a gala full of surprises and fun before an enthusiastic and demanding audience that will participate in choosing THE star of the gala. The new Star of the Campus, winner of the eighth edition of THE VOICE OF YOUR FACULTY, will emerge from this show.

Who will win?

These are the finalists of the eighth edition

Hi! I'm Fernanda Acevedo and I study Psychology. I signed up for La Voz de tu Facultad because I love music, playing instruments, and singing. I sing every day and at all hours, but I've never sung in public, so this seemed like a good opportunity to try it and learn from the talent and experience of others.

My name is Carla Bardají and I am a third-year student of Human Nutrition and Dietetics. I have loved music since I was very young, so much so that I have tried all kinds of instruments and styles (I currently play the drums and sing). I am entering La Voz de tu Facultad because I believe I can learn a lot from this experience and take on a new challenge on stage. I am very grateful to have made it to the final, something I never imagined, despite having tried twice before. In the end, it seems that the third time's the charm!

Hello! My name is Sebastián Brito, I am Ecuadorian, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Architecture. I am very happy to be part of La Voz de tu Facultad. Music is an excellent way to communicate and connect with people, and I am sure that this experience will be full of learning from the professionals who will accompany us in this growth and, above all, to enjoy doing what we love: singing!

My name is Sara Campos and I am in my first year of medical school. Music and performing in public have always been my passion. That's why La Voz de tu Facultad seems like the perfect opportunity to continue my training and meet people with whom I can share the experience and emotion that something as beautiful as music conveys.

My name is Matt Meyer, and I am from Orange County, Southern California. I am in my second year at Benedicite College in Atchison, KS, and I am here on exchange for four months. After this semester, I will return to Atchison to finish my degree in Spanish with a minor in Classics. Music has been a part of my life since 2013 when I received my first harmonica, and since then I have developed my musical talent. I discovered my ear for music and progressed on my journey by learning guitar, piano, and saxophone. In my junior year of high school, I began working on my voice, day after day, and came to love the art of performance.

Hi! I'm Lucía, I'm twenty years old, I was born in Madrid, and I study Philosophy and Law.
For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed singing and listening to lots of music. My brother Gabri is largely to blame for this, and I am very grateful to him. For me, music is fundamental, essential; it improves my life and brings beauty and humanity to it. I love it.
I applied to La Voz de tu Facultad because I see it as a great opportunity to have fun and learn; to continue enjoying myself, in short. I am very excited to share this with Jana's amazing team and my other colleagues, and I would love for you to join in the fun at the concert we will be giving at the MUN.
See you later!

My name is Andrés Ostiz Olalla (although I prefer to be called Andy). I can finally say that I am in my sixth and final year of History and International Relations. Disney, Eurovision, and Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) are my Roman empires. After several years of feeling out of place, I think I have found what truly fulfills me in art. In addition, participating in La Voz de tu Facultad seems like a great way to finish my degree, which has not been easy. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Hi! I'm Valeria, from the Faculty of Education and Psychology. My passion for music came to me through my father's vinyl records. I found it particularly fascinating to discover real gems of songs from other times. I've been singing since I was five years old and have taken every opportunity I've had to improve. When I was seven, I was given my first guitar, and since then, music has been everywhere. Singing makes me feel like myself; it's my comfort zone. I auditioned for La Voz de tu Facultad because of how incredible my experience was participating in the MUN musical with JANA Producciones. I have no doubt that being on La Voz will be unforgettable.

Hello! I'm Ana Rábade, a student in the Master's in Curatorial Studies program at MUN, and I'm passionate about the arts.

I was born in Mexico, and since I was little, art has been my refuge, what makes me happiest, what allows me to disconnect. However, for a long time, it was also something I kept to myself, out of embarrassment. Since arriving in Pamplona, I decided to face those fears little by little, signing up for theater and choir. All my experiences on stage have helped me and made me very happy. However, I still don't feel comfortable singing alone.

This year, I finally decided to take another step forward and participate in La Voz de tu Facultad (The Voice of Your Faculty), with the goal of overcoming that last fear I have left and sharing my love of music with all of you.

My name is Felipe and I'm from Ecuador. I'm in my first year of Business Administration and Management. I love music, and singing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I don't even remember why I took the plunge and auditioned, but I don't regret it (luckily). I'm very excited and nervous, but happy to be participating.
