Adam and Eve on Broadway: The Musical
Price: €18 / €15
Duration: 90 minutes
A musical created by Jana Producciones and based on the original text by Mark Twain, the story unfolds through original songs that narrate the relationships between couples and the transformation of Adam's characters over time since the day the world was created. A work that recalls the myth of paradise with humor, sarcasm, intelligence, and subtle touches of pathos to show us the ancestral weaknesses and ways of human nature.
Part of the musical's cast is made up of students from the musical theater workshop, whose purpose is to develop their theatrical performance, vocal, and dance techniques at a professional level.
Impressive lighting, accompanied by various projections and a very unusual set design, provide the backdrop for this story, which has never before been seen on stage in musical form. The official Broadway premiere of Adam and Eve will take place on October 30 and 31, 2015, at the Santander Festival Hall.

In his early days, Twain wrote lighthearted and humorous verses, but he evolved into a chronicler of humanity's vanities, hypocrisies, and cruelties. Throughout his career, Mark Twain wrote novels, travel books, short stories, essays, and other nonfiction works, as well as newspaper articles. The Diary of Adam and Eveis a moving tribute to his wife, who died a year before he wrote it; a work with a simple, sharp, direct, and somewhat irreverent style, as well as a vital defense of human beings, whose weaknesses and pretensions he ridicules. Throughout his life, Twain showed an interest that bordered on obsession with the big questions surrounding the creation of man and the world; The Diary of Adam and Eve ishis own answer to these questions.
