DRAMA WRITING WORKSHOP

Wednesdays from January 19 to February 16
2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
20 places
General €190
Students €65

A workshop open to all audiences, with special attention given to university students, who enjoy a preferential rate.

In this workshop, led by Professor Carlos Bernal, participants will learn how to shape a theatrical text, from the initial idea to the final script. Curiosity, poetry, and writing are combined with the dramaturgy techniques shared throughout the sessions to bring out the talent and interests of each person in the group.

Carlos Bernal

He is one of the most prolific Spanish-language writers thanks to his insight into the human condition today and his mastery in bringing to life situations and characters rich in interpretive possibilities.

He became an actor at the Teatro Experimental de Cali alongside Enrique Buenaventura between 1968 and 1978, and for the past 24 years he has been working in Spain and Germany as a director, teacher, and playwright.

He has worked with companies such as the Teatro Experimental de Cali, directed by Enrique Buenaventura, Der Alcaraván Theater in Germany, Tornedals-Teatern in Sweden, Uroc Teatro, Gayo Vallecano, Centro Dramático Español, and Teatro de los Sentidos in Spain. He has taught workshops in various places around the world, and we are delighted to welcome him back for a new edition of this workshop at the Pamplona Campus of the University of Navarra.
