This year marks the 400th anniversary of the deaths of two geniuses of world literature, the British William Shakespeare and the Spanish Miguel de Cervantes. The literary and dramatic legacy of both is essential to understanding the theater of our time. Because classics never grow old and remain more alive than ever, six actors will perform an exciting dramatized reading that brings together the most representative scenes from William Shakespeare's HAMLET, considered one of the most influential tragedies in Western literature.
Prince Hamlet, Ophelia, Polonius, Laertes, and the ghost of King Hamlet, among other characters, will lead us through the depths of the most universal tragedy of all time. The playwriting and stage direction will be handled by Liuba Cid, with the collaboration of San Sebastian actor Josean Bengoetxea.
