A selection of plays resulting from the Theater Training Program will be presented at the MUN theater. Accompanied by Liuba Cid during the course, students will stage a wide variety of short plays that they have had to devise for this University Theater Showcase. The audience will see how the group has managed to turn a challenge into a virtue.
The University Theater Festival features theater groups from the University, who work throughout the academic year under the guidance of Liuba Cid.

Synopsis:
While preparing for a costume party, Pepe suddenly dies of a heart attack. Before he dies, he makes his friend Paco Yepes promise that he will not marry his wife, Leticia, when he dies. However, Paco breaks his promise and ends up marrying her. Two years after Pepe's death, a series of strange events begin to occur in the newlyweds' home.

Synopsis:
A group of characters seek to escape a disappointing and painful reality by creating their own refuge: a place where they can invent a new life, free from reasoning and discipline, obeying only the power of their imagination. A ghost who wants to be a gardener but finds out he is dead and is Napoleon; a mermaid who comes out of the sea in search of her beloved; an imaginary tree that always gets in the way; or a blindfolded painter are some of the characters in this unreal world. But when love gets in the way, everything will begin to change, because when we love someone, we want to know the truth and not live on dreams.

Academician of the Performing Arts of Spain and Doctorcum laudein Arts and Humanities from Rey Juan Carlos University. This teacher and researcher in visual and performing arts is also a professor of arts theory at URJC. Prolific in her knowledge and work, she is the director of the Ibero-American company Mephisto Teatro and collaborates with the museum in training the university's theater groups.
