University Theater Festival Three Top Hats

Throughout the course, theater groups prepare a script of their choice to perform on stage. As part of the Theater Training Program, they have the opportunity to participate in the University Theater Festival as the culmination of their months of work.

The program is directed and advised by Liuba Cid.

The play selected to be performed at the Museum Theater this year is Tres sombreros de copa (Three Top Hats) by Miguel Mihura, performed by the Mutis por el foro theater group.

Synopsis:

It is young Dionisio's last night of bachelorhood before marrying Miss Margarita. Dionisio decides to spend the night in a provincial hotel where the various characters he meets will make him reflect on things he had never considered before. He will also meet Paula, a beautiful young woman who is staying there. Will Dionisio be able to get through the night without really considering whether his decisions are the right ones? This crazy comedy will turn Dionisio's life upside down.
