In a fascinating fusion of spontaneity and authentic expression, a group of children become performers in this piece alongside Animal Religion.
Exploring the art of imitation, this unique creation challenges the stigma of copying. Copying is a show that invites a group of children aged 8 to 10 onto the stage without any rehearsal or preparation before going on stage. Through movement, sound, and light, the audience will be guided on a journey that celebrates the dialogue between originality and copying.
Copying has a bad reputation. The thinking surrounding this act is pejorative, lacking in originality and, therefore, lacking in personality. And this is surprising because, in reality, as social beings, we copy from the moment we are born until the moment we die. In fact, copying is very natural. We all copy each other and, thanks to this, we connect, learn, and teach, and thus, society evolves.
