The University of Navarra Symphony Orchestra is made up of university-aged students. Each academic year offers students from the University and other institutions the opportunity to train and belong to a high-quality symphony orchestra. Conducted by Borja Quintas, the orchestra performs throughout the academic year under the guidance of leading professionals from the music scene, culminating in public performances.
Inspired by the orchestras of the most prestigious universities in the United States and Central Europe, its aim is to enhance the role of the arts and music in the university environment and establish itself as a leading youth orchestra. It also aims to strengthen links and exchanges with other national and international universities through music.
Auditions are open to all students at the University of Navarra, as well as students from other universities and institutions such as conservatories and music schools.
The application to take the entrance exam is done online, and applicants must submit two pieces of their choice in different styles, which may be a movement from a sonata/suite or an etude.
Students can earn 2 ECTS credits for participating in this activity. To do so, you must enroll in theArtistic Talent Program, which allows you to combine your studies with the development of your artistic talents.
