There are no useless flowers Elephant in the Black Box Company

This choreography was born out of a tribute to the women of 1939 in exile in Europe and Latin America, their struggle, and their need for freedom. A struggle that balances between life and death. A game where dance, music, and poetry coexist.

World premiere

Price: €16 and €12

Articulated around the dream world of Federico García Lorca, No hay flores inútiles (There Are No Useless Flowers) offers a glimpse into the past without ever losing sight of the horizon. Without forgetting to move forward toward a new world. That gentle breeze that comes from the familiar scent of a distant relative. A playful game where dance, music, and poetry coexist, focusing beyond the dimensions of modernity on a new human architecture and the revolution of new parameters.

No hay Flores inútiles (There Are No Useless Flowers) is the latest show by choreographer Marco Blázquez, produced by Elephant in the Black Box. It is a co-creation with texts by poet Nuria Ruiz de Vinaspre and dramaturgy by actress and stage director Paula Soldevilla.
