Rosa Fernández Urtasun

Rosa Fernández Urtasun is currently a Professor of Literature at the University of Navarra, where she teaches Modern and Contemporary Literature. She has been a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and a researcher at the Sorbonne, Eötvös Loránd (Budapest), and Strasbourg Universities.

 

He has three main lines of research, the first being Spanish literature from the first half of the 20th century. In this field, he has worked on modernist poetry, particularly from the 1920s, focusing on figures such as Vicente Aleixandre, Ernestina de Champourcin, and Jorge Guillén. His second area of research is the contemporary rewriting of myths. He has analyzed postmodern works, especially science fiction, to examine the appearance of classical myths and the development of contemporary myths in them.

 

Finally, he has also addressed the relationship between literature and art, participating in projects that study the relationship between contemporary artistic languages.
