LOVE LETTER. PAU ARAN GIMENO

A solo-duet that speaks of desire, which is an appetite for what is absent.

Tickets: €16 and €12

A piece that brings together dancer Pau Aran Gimeno and actress Consuelo Trujillo on stage, based on texts by Peruvian poet César Moro and dramaturgy by Alberto Conejero.

My question is: how do I dance for, toward, and about someone who is absent? How do you dance something that does not yet exist? How do you dance after you have danced? What body dances when my body dances?

This solo-duet was born from all those questions, from all those absences piled up in my body, from this not knowing now where, with whom, how. It was born from the presence of those who are absent. It was born from the traces of the path traveled and the signs of the path yet to be traveled.

A dance solo is always a community of loners. Although I dance alone, Consuelo Trujillo, Alberto Conejero, Domenico Angarano, and César Moro are with me, alongside us .

César Moro, who was an enigma,

César Moro, who was lightning fast,

César Moro, who was at a crossroads,

César Moro, who was desire.
