Big Bang Mariné. Oscar Mariné

Óscar Mariné, winner of the 2010 National Design Award, has had a wide-ranging career in fields such as graphic and editorial design, illustration, and corporate communication. In addition to his work in various areas of design, in recent years Mariné has developed a more independent artistic practice in fields such as painting, engraving, and video, which allows him to explore certain themes raised in his designs with greater freedom. This exhibition presents a wide selection of Mariné's personal work, which is close to pop art, but also to the aesthetics of comics and movie posters, exploring the relationships between design and artistic creation.
