Science and art come together in this choreographic proposal to artistically express the principles of the nature of light.
Light, which is vitally present in our lives, has become a phenomenon that we have normalized. However, its very nature has opened up new avenues in quantum physics and has expanded our idea of what we call reality, allowing us to contemplate that reality with a new breadth.
Black Light is the result of a process of research and creation around light and, in turn, shows how the tools of artistic creation can be a means of pedagogical transmission in the field of science.
While we can understand gravity based on our physical experience, quantum concepts are further removed from our understanding. This is where artistic expression can bridge the gap, bringing us closer to these concepts through perception.
Since ancient times, ritual has been a way to connect with the environment and nature. In this proposal, dance, along with other artistic languages, takes on that ritualistic role.
